Wild life is always a generous source of inspiration for people who design prints or clothes. The motifs which are derived from it, can either refer to the humans inhabiting the wildest of terrains or to the rest of the animals there. It was such a happy coincidence to pose in front of this successful reproduction of nature at the Museum of Natural History in NYC, wearing, under my purple Brooks Brothers cardigan, a silk top with ethnic motif designed by myself. The fabric was bought a year ago from Liberty in London.
