Fashion Week NYC Fall 2014 – Shot with GoPro from Amber Feld on Vimeo.
I was very much moved by this amazing video capturing the true essence of every fashion professional attending or working for the NY Fashion Week. Using a GoPro Camera, talented people from Seventh House PR created a short digital-age silent documentary depicting all the madness and gorgeousness of being a guest or working at the shows. I may be a regular for many years, but for me it’s always an upbeat, unsurpassed experience. This spontaneous backstage and runway video coverage gave me the chance to recall favorite spots, extreme conditions, and unique situations; back in February, the snow, the chill, the basement (Hub) at the Husdon Hotel, the Pavilion which was the new space at the Lincoln Center, the sexy darkness at the lobby, the frenzy of trying to catch the next show on time, and everything else.
It’s all about great talents, great minds, and the vibes of the City. It’s also an insight to what usually happens before we enter the venues, when people literally build up the set, experiment on lighting, work up their magic backstage. The camera being used for this cool video is GoPro, a gadget I’m planning to buy soon, since it’s the easiest way to document my exciting and fashionable life while moving from place to place, encountering endless shot-worthy instances and stories. This is the world’s most versatile camera, wearable, portable, and water-proof, producing excellent quality result! A special thanks to Seventh House PR for offering us a brief, playful and concise picture of what happened, once more to justify our thrill and excitement whenever we describe our deeds there, and the whole prep before the fashion week. It’s my best times of the year!
