Wearing crochet in the summer is the ultimate sign of wisdom! It’s breathable and sexy and it can be classy too. Easy-to-wear and combine, this simple Zara top was quite useful so far in many settings – from the beach to the dance-floor! Last night I mixed-and-matched the crochet top with an ultra skinny and stretchy pair of white JBrand jeans paneled with midnight blue. These are the perfect pants one could wear with high-heels in fancy patent leather ‘purple’, and that’s what I did adopting these magnificent Tod’s heels inhabiting my closet for more than two seasons.
And for a ‘wow’ factor, I just added a super-romantic head-band with an impressive flower synthesis to the side. You can almost call it a fascinator but I will avoid this faux-pas, knowing that fascinators are not that much in fashion right now, being appreciated less in great occasions this season such as the Royal Ascot. Hats have their own momentum after all, and for that matter I prefer calling my cute hair accessory a head-band. Anyway, most of the times, when weather is hot, I resort to ponytails for the obvious reasons of course!
What is really special for me in this look I tried, is the bright lipstick, which I have to admit that I’m rarely using in real life, for fear of getting messy on my clothes or leaving traces on everybody else’s clothes and cheeks! I avoid it especially when my day involves a lot of kissing! But, as you can see, it’s the perfect way to stand out in a photo shoot! And it matches here very well with my studded leather Valentino iPhone case, which is my most fave item for me to hold. It’s useful and cool! It’s my way to communicate with others in a super fashionable way. Love Valentino!
