It’s fashion royalty, Hollywood royalty and actual British royalty, teaming up to save lives! Ralph Lauren is in London to announce the Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research and his philanthropic partnership with The Royal Marsden. Mr. Lauren also attended a charity dinner at Windsor Castle, hosted by HRH The Duke of Cambridge, to celebrate the work of The Royal Marsden, along with fellow major donors and supporters of the hospital. Attending the event were men and women who have showed their sensitivity and determination in their own field such as: Cate Blanchett (photo), Emma Watson (photo to the right), Helena Bonham Carter, Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Arizona Muse, Hamish Bowles and Mario Testino, most of them dressed in amazing Ralph Lauren eveningwear.
The Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research will be housed in a new facility at The Royal Marsden’s Chelsea hospital; the largest and most comprehensive cancer center in Europe. Staffed by a team of world-renowned clinicians and scientists working with the latest in cancer research technology, the center will be dedicated to advancing breast cancer research with the goal of improving early diagnosis and the development of new treatments for breast cancer. “Fighting breast cancer has been a long-standing goal of mine,” said Mr Ralph Lauren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Ralph Lauren Corporation.

The Ralph Lauren Centre for Breast Cancer Research will take up a whole floor in the historic Royal Marsden hospital which will be developed to the highest specification to provide a world-class facility for breast cancer research.
