Believe it or not, I made this drawing almost 3 years ago, and it seems to be so much ‘in fashion’ right now! It’s this back-to-old-school approach or the ‘good girl look’ which dominates the picture with designers such as Victoria Beckham, Stella McCarntey, Marni and Miu Miu making their own amazing interpretations. Collars, used separately or attached in garments, remind us of some private schools’ uniforms. Blue color gets also quite popular since it’s used on many occasions in school life. What I designed so early for the trends to come, was a dress made of green and blue fabric with small white collar, all in a fitted, stretchy form. It’s something between a scuba diving (or surfer) and a student uniform! I’m still so impressed when it comes to fashion predictions and avant-garde design! How did I make it so early? Isn’t it fantastic?
