This was the necklace I was wearing throughout the NY MB Fashion Week FW 14, mostly because I could easily mix and match it with all my outfits which were more or less playing with darker shades such as purple, black, and grey. It’s a wonderful Erdem necklace made of beautiful pink, purple, black, and blue crystals, some of them with a mottled effect on their surface for a vintagy, artistic feel.
It looks precious and chic, eye-catching and easy-to-wear at the same time. The designer smartly decided to smudge and blur the clarity of the crystals in order to achieve a neo-retro or neo-romantic style, so much like old family treasures while also modern, fresh, and easy to adopt with the funkiest of t-shirts.
Last night, I sported this amazing piece over a deliciously pink Reiss turtleneck sweater, for a beautiful contrast and effortless elegance. For me, this necklace is an investment piece I can resort to, on multiple occasions. It’s the jewelry I would suggest to every fashionable girl.
