For Spring/Summer 2014, Nicole Miller manages to successfully match the seemingly unmatched! There are certain amazing 20’s inspired embellished evening dresses matched with biker jackets, ripped jeans, leather, studs, zippers, and many more rock & roll elements that bring about a very youthful approach to high fashion and Hollywood glamour. It’s old and new materials, retro embroidered motifs combined with futuristic prints which all go together without being ‘too much’. She tells a very complicated story but in a meaningful way, which suggests that we have to experiment and be playful before we actually discover the core of our personality!
At the MB Fashion Week I felt that Nicole in delving into the subconscious of the educated fashionista; narrating her dream! She actually urges us to break down all possible rules in fashion and be genuine in our pursuit of the perfect personal style. It may be hard to dare but in the end proves to be liberating!
