Impressive, elegant, vintage romantic creations became once more the key elements of Miltos’ Fall/Winter 2010 show, the favorite designer of Athens Xclusive Designers Week’s loyal audience. Beautiful pastels, ruffles, rich sleeves, bows, knee-high skirts, bold waists and majestic gown trains made up an awesome effect. Miltos, who is an acute “follower” of the classics such as Yves Saint Laurent and Dior, makes a quite respectable job marked my balanced detailing, refined extravagance and careful tailoring. At this show he was one of the few who chose to accompany the presentation with classical music. The models’ hairstyles had some Marie Antoinette reference with a modern frizz on top. We like Miltos because he is a sincere, warm artist as well as keen on the Greek luxury market. His outfits were dollish, in the good sense of the term.
