Ι was impressed by this atmospheric instagrammed picture on 5 inch and up featuring an outfit accessorized with this unique Life on Mars scarf by Athena Procopiou. I then browsed through the Matches online shop which has an incredible collection of designer pieces and focuses on cutting-edge fashion. The first Matches store opened in 1990 and it’s still one of London’s favorite retail brands with 13 stores all over the city. The scarf presented here, is an excellent piece of digital print fashion, which urged me google for Athena Procopiou’s story and work. I picked up the most interesting info from her website – she’s been trained as a pianist in Switzerland, studied History of Art at Christie’s as well as Illustration and Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins.
