I am not that happy with the fact that Hilary Alexander, CFDA-Awarded Telegraph Fashion Director retires, but the news of her coming next summer autobiography can be called some kind of “relief”. We are quite certain that she is not ready to withdraw from the world of fashion she loves and is committed to serve. On the contrary, she is very willing to share with all of us her fascinating and strange life, her experience and wisdom, her effort and reward. A true fashion professional and a genuine perfectionist, Hilary will offer even more to her fans writing books and telling stories, for young and upcoming people who want somehow to relate themselves to fashion. We will learn what was happening backstage before and after the catwalk shows, what was behind all this glitz and glamour of the mega-fashion houses, what was like to be an “insider” in the fashion scene, and what was the process behind those amazing Telegraph articles we enjoyed for so many years!
