Are you still hungry for more looks? That’s my third outfit for the upcoming NY MB Fashion Week being revealed to you way before I actually was planning to. You can see me wearing By Malene Birger pants, a brocade with metallic houndstooth motif combined with a red silk peplum top designed by myself and lined with an extra peplum in forest green. They’re accessorized with my beloved Marc by Marc Jacobs silver wedge sneakers and lace-in-PVC bag. I thought that this could be a very interesting contrast of red, black and silver which I hope you might like it too. And I played with two different motifs based on black – the lace of my bag and the houndstooth. I also wanted to mix volumes and create a brand new silhouette using a very fitted peplum top which accentuates the waist, and a loose pants. I don’t wear loose pants that often and when I ordered this item I was worried about the fit, but I got experimental at this point, and honestly it was quite rewarding in the end!
I think this is a look for almost every occasion, especially if you carry with you an extra pair of heels to swap the sneakers with, on a last-minute invite to a cocktail party! As I’ve told you before, I was very hesitant in the past to wear red, because I thought it was too much for a blonde girl like me, but once I created my own collection, I decided to break the rule and adopt it! I feel very happy that I can now sport this peplum and I’m sure that it’s going to turn heads in a good way. I’m already very excited with my outfits and can’t wait to see them in action. New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is approaching, so stay tuned to see more of my outfits for the shows and events there. As I’m receiving more invites and I’m still organizing my wardrobe stunners, I’ll be keeping you posted with every detail of my trip. In the meantime, don’t forget to scroll down this post, to check more pictures from this look!
Love you ALL!!!
