The weather was amazing and the setting, i.e. Hotel Westin in Vouliagmeni, was unique for the occasion. Many wedding receptions have taken place throughout the years in this seaside luxury hotel. It was moving, because I thought it was the perfect place for a wedding. Perhaps those who organized the event shared the same opinion. Cosmos Hall, where the catwalk was placed, was fully decorated with flowers and Mumm champagne, a newcomer in the Greek market, was offered to the ladies who attended the fabulous fashion show. A collection of glamorous wedding gowns in white, evening dresses made of vividly colored, light fabrics and sexy top-and-shorts outfits was how Kathy Heyndels welcomed Spring in Westin Hotel, Astir-Vouliagmeni, Athens. Laces, drapery, transparencies and intricate head-pieces were the main characteristics of classic wedding dresses with a modern, fresh twist. For the rest of the collection, the watercolor effect was predominant, with colors such as dark orange with café au lait, blue with terracotta, turquoise with brown and others, mixed together. Among the single colored dresses, hot red ones were the most eye-catching.
