Son Jung Wan presented her Moroccan inspired Spring/Summer 2014 collection in The Studio at Lincoln Center for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, making a very interesting statement about glamour and the idea of a flattering edgy form. The collection featured architectural silhouettes and red carpet ready dresses in neutral whites, beiges, tans and blush tones punctuated with amber, burnt oranges and a hint of sun-drenched Sahara Desert inspired prints. Stand-out looks included an off-white jumpsuit with slit side cut-outs and a coral sequin mini-dress with open weaved leather hem. She’s a designer with a very unique approach to design and a great balance between the decorative and the structural elements of the clothes. She likes to create items which are wearable but at the same time have something special and artistic in them. Her creations are delicate, refined, pleasant-to-touch, and at the same time have a very refreshing visual impact. Love!!!
