Athens Fashion Week started with a fabulous, theatrical show by designer Dassios. It was an amazing Fall/Winter 2011/12 Collection, full of inspiration, color and elements of story telling. We saw unique hand-crafted overcoats, coats, jackets, vests, bags and other accessories made of high quality furs, leathers and fabrics adorned with folk features such as embroidery, coins, beading and fringe. Models were styled as famous fairytale-and-novel figures with special makeup, and they were accompanied by a ballerina – a true classical ballet dancer – at some point. We loved the show since it was spectacular, thematic and included pieces we are thrilled to wear!
