It’s only day one of New York Fashion Week and the debut of Czech national Jiri Kalfar provided the season with it’s most iconic moment when supermodels Paulina Porizkova, Linda Voitova and Alina Baikova joined him on the runway for his triumphant finale.
Kalfar’s Autumn Winter vision for 2019 cites Tatyana, the celebrated heroine in Alexander Pushkin’s ‘Eugene Onegin’ as his inspiration with a collection rich with jewel tones and luxurious crystals furnish by Preciosa. Hats provided by Tonak, celebrating 200 years of fine Czeck millinery.
