It’s freezing-cold outside and no matter how eager we are to adopt mid-season trends we will only end up with the brightest accessories from the Cruise or Resort 2015 collections. I’ve been daring enough, couple of seasons ago, sporting my then newly-bought silk Marni skirt under a heavy, warm coat on the streets of snow-stormed NYC but it was memorably challenging and I’m rather reluctant in repeating the experience. In a more descent, less risk-taking mood, I shall go with fancy bags, jewelry, scarves and other cheery accents on my so far wintery outfits! Among them, this little bijou stands out: it is a timeless example of House codes and craftsmanship, fashioned of textured Épi leather printed with the Malletage motif, a pattern adapted from the linings of classic Vuitton trunks.
