For Spring/Summer 2014 Donna Karan created a DKNY collection full of color and revisited signature pieces which celebrate 25 years of flowing imagination and creativity. We loved the overalls and the track pants, all the outerwear including men-inspired blazers and trench coats, the bright clashing colors, the geometry, the color blocking and the vivid logos in these outfits. The result was youthful, wearable and approachable, mood-lifting and with a special kind of teasing energy!
The layering of minimal forms and pastel colors, the famous transparent dress, and the sneakers are exactly what hipsters want right now, but if you study the collection closer you’ll find many pieces that are ageless, classic and can be worn for decades to come! We loved also the baseball caps and most importantly the setting and the guests especially dj Rita Ora spreading her own cool vibes on the catwalk!
