This post is all about the statement necklace! I picked my own from the nOir Jewelry collection which features incredibly chic and sparkly faux bijoux. The whole idea of a statement piece is that it stands out from the rest of outfit and basically it makes the outfit.
Mine is a necklace made of chunky black and white crystals and a golden chain. This perfected my previous look with the crisp white Brooks Brothers shirt and the red Catherine Malandrino skirt.
One impressive necklace can really make a difference even to the simplest outfit. You should always have one in your bag to be able to transform your daily attire into an evening look. One sparkler is enough!

As you may have noticed in this version of the outfit I removed my gigantic Dolce & Gabbana earrings to avoid a visual conflict. Finding the balance in a look that is mostly defined by accessories means that are partly minimalist and partly maximalist. You don’t want to be over-the-top.
