Front-row at the Eva Minge Spring/Summer 2012 Fashion show which took place at the Hudson Hotel in NYC during the MB Fashion Week I met upcoming designer Candice Wu, a recent Boston School of Fashion Design graduate who has already participated in Boston Fashion Week, as well as in the amazing ‘Project Beethoven’ with a black gown inspired by Boston Symphony Orchestra’s take on the composer. She grabbed my attention with her extra slim and elegant silhouette and her incredible, very modern style. The detail I picked from her look was her hands holding an iPhone with a Chanel-logo crystal-studded case, featuring also an amazing blue-shade manicure and an older Marc Jacobs Collection ring that reflected a lot of light adding extra new-age glamour to this choice. It seems that Candice is very young and promising, a very fresh and creative person, influenced by multiple cultures and traditions, as well as by urban trends.
