Athens is ready to experience its second fashion week for this season, after AXDW, with a charity fashion show by an internationally established Greek fashion designer Dimitris Dassios who excels in handcrafted jewelry and accessories-making as well as in apparel design. His show is expected to be impressive and theatrical, with pieces that focus on his main technique, palette and modern ethnic style. Quite artistic and dramatic, the designer once more pursues the transformation of fashion into high form of art. A few days before Dassios impressed also Paris Fashion Week audience with the presentation of his creations – another achievement which makes him even more enthusiastic about his artistic and commercial appeal in Greece and abroad. Most people know that Dassios is selling in many prestigious boutiques in Europe, which means that he already has the key to international markets. For that matter I am tempted to present you what I already have in still life photos from the Fall/Winter 2011-12 collection that he is going to showcase on Wednesday March 30, 2011 during the Athens Fashion Week Opening in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
